Gwen Hughes Fine Art

Gwen Hughes, Development of a Square, screenprint edition of 150, 2000

Gwen Hughes Fine Art has been buying and selling art since 1997, regularly working with private and corporate collectors, designers, decorators and directly with artists and their estates. The gallery specialises in the work of artists born or active in Britain, mostly during the second half of the 20th century, though works available range in date from the early 1900s to the present. The stock includes important paintings, and drawings by some of the leading figures in modern British art, but also many affordable artists’ prints and works by less familiar names. The gallery holds works by some of the pre-eminent British artists of the 20th-century, including Howard Hodgkin, John Hoyland, Prunella Clough, Alan Davie and David Hockney. Based in London, artworks are available to view by appointment and, a member of LAPADA, the gallery exhibits at several major fairs.
