Established as an independent dealer in 2012, Freya Mitton specialises in 20th Century British Art. Focusing on quality paintings by artists who have an established reputation, Freya frequently handles works by leading British painters such as Mary Fedden, Diana Armfield and Fred Yates. Her knowledge and passion for artworks of this era was nurtured when she was head of the Modern British sales department at Sotheby’s Olympia, and Freya continues to conduct auctions commercially and for charity. Today the business is based in Somerset and as a member of BADA and LAPADA exhibits regularly at a number of specialist London and regional art fairs.
Freya also lends her expertise to Connect as a member of the fair’s Advisory Committee.
