Fox House Fine Art

Lowes Dalbiac Luard, Early Morning, Newmarket, oil on canvas

Fox House Fine Art (formerly Thamesbrook) was founded in 2002 and deals in selected works of art, glass and pictures. Specialising in British sporting and wildlife art, the gallery’s selection of antique works in oils, watercolour, printed mediums and drawings reflect director Susan Blacker’s own love of the British countryside. Fox House Fine Art builds on Susan’s academic interest in wildlife art- as a keen equestrian, her MPhil thesis topic considered the British obsession with animals in art. Alongside a BA in History of Art from UEA and an MPhil in the Arts of Europe from Christie’s & Glasgow University, Blacker is a qualified professional valuer and has lent her expertise to a number of auction houses. Fox House Fine Art regularly exhibits at antiques fairs and can be visited by appointment.
