Elizabeth Harvey-Lee

Rembrandt, Three Oriental Figures, 18th century impression of original etching, 1641

For over thirty years Elizabeth Harvey-Lee has specialised in the sale of artists’ original etchings and engravings (woodcuts, lithographs, etc) from the late Middle Ages to today, by both major, and interesting minor, European and British artists. Stock initially concentrated exclusively on artists’ prints from the period c.1490-c. 1940, but in more recent years has widened its remit to include works by a number of more recent printmakers. The gallery produces two new fully-illustrated stock catalogues each year, and regularly exhibits at the London Original Print Fair at the Royal Academy.

Before establishing the business in 1986, Elizabeth Harvey-Lee ran the Print Department at Phillips Auctioneers in London. A graduate in the history of Fine Art, with art school training in the practice of printmaking, Elizabeth has been awarded an honorary Fellowship of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers for her contributions to the field.
